The To Do Show
Real People. Real Lists. Real Talk.
Every week, I ask someone to show me their actual to-do list, and we unpack how they really get through their day. No highlight reels. No productivity theater. Just honest conversations about the beautiful chaos of being human.

What is The To Do Show?
Most interview shows feature experts at the top of their game. The To-Do Show is different – I talk to everyday people from all walks of life about the one thing nobody talks about: what’s actually on their list today.
Each episode explores:
- How people actually organize their time (not how they think they should)
- The systems that work (and the ones that definitely don’t)
- The trade-offs nobody admits they’re making
- What it looks like when you have 47 things on your list… or zero
This isn’t a masterclass. It’s more like eavesdropping on someone’s internal monologue while they’re trying to figure out if they should answer that email or just… lie down.
What's Your To-Do Archetype?
Not everyone organizes the same way. Some people need color-coded systems. Others thrive on chaos. Some can’t function without a plan. Others make it up as they go.
Take the To-Do List Archetype quiz to discover your to-do style, and get personalized insights on how to work with your brain, not against it.
Hi, I'm Jen Tracy
For the last few years, I’ve been kind of obsessed with one question:
What do people actually do in a day?
Not the Instagram version… The real version.
The version where your kid is crying while you’re on a Zoom call, or you have 27 browser tabs open and can’t remember what you were doing, or you’ve color-coded your entire Google Calendar and you’re still drowning.
I started The To Do Show because I am so curious about people! What do the details of their lives look like? How is everyone different? How is everyone the same? How are we all trying? What’s actually on their to-do list, what are they avoiding, and how are they really making it work (or not).
My background is in marketing and brand strategy. My job – my life’s purpose, really – is to share the stories and ideas I believe in.
I love sharing other people’s stories and getting to ask them all of the questions I have bubbling inside me (and I have found that putting a microphone in front of someone makes it socially acceptable for me to interrogate them!)
